Custom Tattoos for You

What makes us the best tattoo shop in the Raleigh area? With the strong artistic background of our artists, we can create the custom tattoo of your dreams. We can work from existing images, or freehand what you have imagined.

Whether this is your first tattoo or you are a collector, we offer a clean, friendly, judgment-free environment.

Private Rooms

Unlike many other Raleigh area tattoo parlors, our studio offers private rooms so that you can be comfortable while your artist works on you. We pride ourselves on maintaining sterile conditions in each room, so that you have peace of mind that not only are you as comfortable as possible, you're safe.

Deposits and Cancellation Policy

We accept appointments with a nonrefundable deposit. Deposits hold the time slot for you and ensure that the artist will be compensated for any drawing time they spend before they start actually tattooing you. The amount of the deposit starts at $50, but is at the discretion of the artist. Generally, appointments set for 1 hour or less will be a $50 deposit; deposits longer than an hour will be about half of the estimated cost of the tattoo. Deposits will be applied to the cost of the tattoo. If you do not show up for your appointment or you are more than 15 minutes late, you will forfeit your deposit. Please note that you are paying for your artist's time. If you are late for your appointment, you will still be charged starting from the time your appointment was set for. We accept cash, credit, apple pay, or debit.

Cancellations/rescheduling should be made at least 48 hours in advance of appointments in order to have it applied to a different session. Deposits are forfeited after 3 months from your last scheduled appointment. You are allowed to reschedule once. If you reschedule more than once, you will forfeit your deposit and will have to put down a new one to secure a new date and time.

When you commission an artist to design a tattoo for you, please be aware that you can request up to two small changes (edits that will take 5 minutes or less to complete) to the design before the artist will need to charge extra money for their design time.

Design Process

Please have a clear idea of what you want when talking with your artist. They have a very limited amount of drawing time, so they don’t have time to go back and forth on designs. Our artists allow you to request 2 minor changes to the design for free, but if they have to do more than about 10 minutes of editing, they have to tack on more fees for their time.

If you book an appointment based on what we have talked about, you cannot change the idea. We give an estimate and book you based on how long we think the design and tattoo will take, and if you change ideas, that changes the estimate and the amount of time. You will likely have to move your appointment to a later date if you change the idea after you have booked an appointment, and the price will likely change.

How To Ensure a Great Experience

  • First, read our Before Your Appointment tips.
  • Arrive on time, clean, and ready to start. PLEASE WEAR A MASK.
  • Wear loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to the area that will be tattooed, and wear your hair up and out of the way.
  • Be clear when telling your artist what you're looking for. Bringing or sending examples of artwork and tattoos you like will give them a good idea about how best to design your tattoo. Your artist will give you an estimate based on what you've talked about.
  • Your artist has a limited amount of drawing time each week, so please do not change design concepts after your artist has drawn the original idea up for you. If you do, expect to be charged for their time.
  • Tip your artist. Tattoo artists are not paid hourly. They receive a percentage of what you pay, so tipping ensures that they are fairly compensated for their time, including any designing that has to be done before they actually start tattooing you.
  • Don't show up drunk. It leads to bad decisions, possible excessive bleeding (which will ruin your tattoo), and a frustrated artist who can't give you the great service you want. If we suspect you have been drinking, you will be turned away and you will forfeit your deposit.
  • Let your artist know if you're not feeling well. Lightheadedness and nausea can arise during a tattoo. If you're experiencing something like that, don't hide it.
  • Similarly, be sure to tell your artist beforehand if you have any medical issues, including if you are pregnant. If you are pregnant or nursing, we will not be able to tattoo you.
  • Please do not bring children to the studio. Appointments tend to go best when you're on your own and don't have an entourage of people tagging along. Our artists reserve the right to only allow one person in the studio at a time.
  • Food and drink are not allowed in the actual artist rooms.
  • Communicate! We want to give you the absolute best experience that we can, so be open with us.
